This award-winning renovation majestically married a charming 1920’s cottage with a 1960’s addition and an outdate 1970’s kitchen. The mishmash of designs was rethought and refreshed to enhance the original charm of the home.
Prior to hiring the contractor, MDG worked with the client to master plan the addition including the space planning, construction documentation, and specification selections. Our client’s process was driven by the fact that they loved their home and knew they would be living there for the rest of their lives. They wanted the renovation to honor the original architecture of the cottage and also give them the modern living of an open concept design. By planning all the details prior to construction, the client was able to receive a true apples to apples bid and not have surprise costs during the renovation process.
