First Floor Reimagined

Yardly, PA

After the client worked with an architect to plan a small addition to the home, MDG was called to help decorate the space. MDG discussed the overall project goal with the client who intended to make the home feel more open and less segmented. A space plan was created by MDG that revealed the addition the architect was suggesting did not add to the overall flow of the home which was currently divided by a long hallway. MDG suggested removing several walls adjoining the hall and opening up an old enclosed porch, which created a central living space. These small adjustments to the master plan saved the client $60,000 on an addition. With a great design plan and a cohesive decoration plan, these empty nesters are staying put in their beloved home.
