From the architecture and design to the terrain and shoreline, the British West Indies became the ultimate source of inspiration for the 2013 Parade Home. Capitalizing on this through design meant a meaningful monochromatic color palate throughout with intentional introductions of steel gray-blue and teal greens. There’s a yin and yang about the home. You’ll notice the office, powder bath and kitchen all harbor a masculine & moody atmosphere. The Great Room & dining rooms feature lighter, brighter spaces where natural linen fabrics, reclaimed barn wood furniture and woven wood blinds became paramount to the design by offsetting the neutral palates with texture. Every detail was micro-analyzed in the making of this home. The interior trim millwork was custom crafted to the specifications of the designer and installation was overseen closely to ensure no detail was overlooked.
