Welcome (Back) Kristen Joyce!

If you search deep enough through my photo albums on Facebook, you’ll find this gem from 2014. It’s Kristen Joyce and I faux crying at her going-away lunch. Why faux crying?  Because I knew it was only a matter of time before my sister in design would come back to the McMullin Design Group.

Here we are four years later and she’s back! And I couldn’t be more thrilled to work with her again.

Kristen had been off conquering this commercial world designing international banks and franchise restaurants–but in her heart of hearts she knew she preferred residential design.

At MDG, KJ (as we fondly refer to THIS Kristen) is now heading up the expansion of our commercial portfolio. You may remember our award-winning design of Collingswood restaurant, Kitchen Consigliere. That was Kristen’s project and she knocked it out of the park.

That’s not to say we’ll only have her working on commercial designs. Kristen also loves a great residential project. Her talent shines through no matter what medium she’s working in. I have no doubt Kristen will continue to create unique spaces for our clients in both sectors.

We are over the moon that Kristen has found her way back to MDG. Welcome home, KJ!
